3 kings day

We had a good time at game day in LI yesterday. We met some new families which was nice and we got a chance to catch up, play games and talk with old ones. Hopefully we can get together more often with the ones that are in queens/brooklyn. I love going to the get togethers, the environment is so supportive. I hope that the next time it doesn't rain so we can go outside and play a little. Not that a little rain stopped the kids from playing outside, just not in the sand park. Today we ran a few errands (life skills) and then read about three kings day, the kids had a great time baking cookies with their dad as a way to celebrate this important holiday. F learned how to roll the cookie dough out so he could make shapes in the dough. A got very involved too, she loves to be a big girl and help. I took lots of pics again, I will eventually put all of the home school pics into a folder of some sort as a record of all of our activities.
