Happy B day

It's my J's b day today.... my 1st girl is getting big.... we had an ice cream cake for her and her and her daddy went out and bought balloons for her and did some car related errands. Our present to her will be a trip to the children's museum with her friends tom. afternoon.

F has the day off for home schooling today :) so he is playing with a lot with his soldiers and Legos.

We had a really nice play date with another home schooling mom and her 5 kids on Tuesday.. the kids got to play with all sorts of things there. F and his friend C and another girl E played 2 different Monopoly games and had a blast. J and A played, read books, and drew with their friend E who is almost 4 years old. We spent about 5 hours there and had lunch then waited for my DH to pick us up after work.

I got some work books from the mom who had waay too many.. so when F came home I had him look over some of them to see if he thought he could do them. The books are 5Th-6Th grade level, and he said he could try.... so Wed. morning before all our errands he did some math from one of the work books. He did a good job with the decimal point 3 digit additions and subtractions. Then did some grammar from his 2nd grade pages.... nouns and spelling.
Afterwards was laundry, bank, Dr. appt, bought all the things for J's b day 'party' at home, balloons, plates, fairy wings, magic wand.. you know all girly things we just have to have for a b day. :)
This is the reason I stay in shape... we walk to all these errands, none of which except for the laundry, is less than 2 blocks away. :O) Me and F figured out that pushing the stroller with the 2 girls inside is pushing about 80 pounds. How is that for a work out?
