Soccer

Tuesday I took the kids to the city for a free soccer group. This is not home school only activity but there was one HSing mom there. F is good friends with her son so he was happy. They started off doing some drills and then moved onto actually playing a mini soccer game with 2 opposing teams. F loved it and said it was so much fun. He ran around for over an hour playing soccer and had a blast. The girls played ball and ran around with the other mom's 4 yo dd E.
The park is located in Battery park city in Manhattan, near my old college, it took me back to walk around that neighborhood again. I showed the kids where I went to school, and some of the places I used to go to in the area. It took us about an hour to get there but we will try and go every week.

F has been doing math pages every day in the morning sort of keeping up with our routine.... J has been doing some letter and number recognition work pages as well. We have also been reading various books, playing games, watching movies and just enjoying our days.
