We celebrate Christmas on Christmas eve following the European tradition of eating dinner together and then opening presents on the 24Th. My family has been following this tradition since as long as my mother can remember. After a nice dinner we got to open all of our presents, which the kids loved. Especially the big wooden doll house we got for the girls. F got a lot of Lego's, and PS2 games. My husband got the many pairs of socks he always get for X mas. It's become a tradition to buy him socks, he goes thru them so fast. I got a wonderfuly soft robe, jammies, and a cook book. It was really nice with my mom here as well. Although I am missing my uncle and my brother.
We decided to take a break from any official learning until after A's b day, but F still spends time doing country flags, looking up info on line on various topics, reading and doing other 'educational' things without having to be told to do them.
