We had our monthly geography club and the kids did a report on Germany. It was a good class, afterwards we took a walk to the park with the other moms and kids. The kids ran around, played games, climbed, and just enjoyed the sun. after 2 hours we left and walked to my friend C's house. As it is with 5 kids, it took us 30 minutes to walk 5 blocks :). We hung out there for a little bit, the kids searched for snails in her garden, found 5 of them, were thrilled, and put them in a plastic bag with the top open for air so we could bring them home. Once that was done we walked to the library, again the 6 blocks took about 30 minutes.. got picked up by daddy and his car and came home and crashed. It was a long day but oh so nice out...
The last 2 days we stood home reading the Around the World in 80 days book, which both J and F really are into. Doing math, and various other subjects.
Wednesday we did errands, went to the library and F and A got their free books from the RIF program, then spent some time at the park. Of course F took his scooter with him, he is attached to the hip with that things, wants to take it every where we go.. at least we're getting our money' worth.
