Spring

Spring is here in a few days, the last week or so the weather has been cooperating with us, so we have spent a lot more time out doors. After the Native American architecture classes we have been meeting at Washington Square, the kids have been having fun running around playing tag and other games while we grown ups talk. The play ground has seen much more action as well...

Today my beautiful, wonderful, sweet 7 yo daughter learned to ride her bike w/o any training wheels. We rode/walked (kids rode, I walked) to the local playground and she decided she wanted to try to ride it w/o the wheels because every one she knows can ride a 2 wheeler. A few wobbly tries, and she was off! She was soooo happy and proud, as was I. We got a few looks from people when we both screamed YES! LOL

I am awed that I taught my baby how to ride a bike, and that I was there when she finally did it. It's perfect timing too since it's getting warmer and we can spend a lot of time outdoors riding around.

Being a mom never felt so good...
