First snow
yay! We saw the first snow of the season a few hours ago, although it only snowed for about 30 mintues. We all sat at the window and watched it. Then we read a little about how snowflakes are formed. The kids had a good time gluing cotton balls and paper snowflakes onto black construction paper. The kids were hoping that the snow would stick... they all want to make snow angels :) Later we will be going to the library and borrowing more books, F loves Curious George books. F has been doing some research on various planets and their characteristics, which he then writes down into his notebook. We are doing a different one every day, I have been using enchanted learning as a source, and his new book on planets that he got from the library as his free book. We threw out our x -mas tree a few days ago, which left us with a lot of cleaning to do, all those pine needles had to go! The kids miss the tree, but.... So we have been pretty busy for the past couple of days. Well here's hoping for more snow :)
