New year

Well, the kids had a nice time last night, J and F stayed up till 12 and the baby went to bed at 11pm. They played around with the leis' and J and F threw confetti all around the living room yelling (quietly) Happy New Year! I took pics :) As far as our new start in the year, we did some school work, on the rain forest and it's animals, I found a web site that lets you listen to the different sounds of the rain forest and it's inhabitants. The kids love it. As far as the rest of our new year went :The toilet overflowed into our downstairs neighbor's bathroom, our car finally broke down, the brakes don't work, Dh found out as he was driving home from work tonight. So I think we are carless until March. I am taking it in stride, at least we live in NY where we can take a train/bus to get most places. I am working on figuring out how to attend the activities in LI though. Hopefully we can attend some of the things that I have planned and invite our hs ing friends along. Bring on 2007, I'm ready :)
