Today I took the kids to a play ground play date with some other home schoolers. The kids had a great time running around playing games with their friends and getting wet in the sprinklers. I had a nice time talking with the moms.
Before we left F did a page of 4Th grade math and J used the star fall website to review her letters and sounds.
Over the weekend me and DH went to PA without the kids for a 2 day vacation. It has been years since we had a weekend for us. The kids went to my mom's house Thursday night and we left early Friday morning and came back Saturday night. It was so great to get away and relax, I need to do it more often, even if its for one night.
The kids had a good time with grandma, played with legos and bowled in her side yard and just hung out with her. They always love it at her house.
We are still reading Around the world in 80 days, one chapter at a time... doing math, geography and various other things either on the computer or just as every day conversation things.
