stars

I am just missing the stars, when we lived in NC we used to go outside and sit on the stairs to our trailer and look up at the stars. The kids were amazed at how many there were. Living in the city you see a few here and there. It was just a different life in NC, and I am missing the peace and the beauty of it all.

The kids all have colds, not bad ones but enough that J wakes me up a few time during the night..... F had a stomach thing a few days ago and spent the whole night throwing up... he slept in the bed with me with the light on... yesterday DH took him to the Dr to make sure it wasn't strep throat or smt. cuz he also had bad throat pain for 2 days. She said no but did the test anyway, so we shall now for sure in a few days. He is OK now but his tummy is uncomfortable...

They were all at my mom's apt last weekend and had a good time there... me and DH spent it here quietly, cleaning up, and just relaxing. It was a much needed time for ourselves...

Needless to say not much home schooling has been done this last week, but we will pick up again on Monday. F did a couple days with his writing program and some math earlier in the week.

So I am missing the stars, the outdoors, the peace and quiet.....
