Tuesday

Saturday F and his father went to home depot again for their monthly workshops. This time they made a wooden box to hold 3 small pots filled with spices that they had to soak in water first and then plant. Then they did their ritual of going to Dh's job and F got to drive the forklift again.. it's a good opportunity for F to learn about his father's job. He loves the alone time :) When they came back we went downstairs and the kids got to ride their bikes and draw with sidewalk chalk, J and I drew hop scotch and J drew all different things, including some letters.
J helped her father and F put some of the spice seeds into the pot and they have to wait at least 10 days for it to grow. It'll be nice for them to see the process it takes.
We planted the black bean plant into a pot on Sunday, F made a note of it in his book. His penmanship is improving.
Sunday we finished our book about Roman soldiers, which had a surprising amount of math in it, and F did some more work pages on math and Phonics. He has been practicing his phonics on the software on the computer.
Monday we did errands and some more math, F did about 10 pages in his work book... he chose easy math ( only 1 digit adding) I let him because he could always use more practice.....he also did reviews of the time and money.
Today I watched my friend's baby again, the kids were a great help, they love the baby, they play with him and keep him entertained, since he is only 6 mos old he takes a lot of time away from our sort of routine, so we only did 3 pages of math today, but it gave me a reason to really clean my apt lol!
It's time for a bath now...
Bath over.... story time! I have been reading a lot of boks to the kids lately, the girls love books! I read the Snail and the Whale, Go dog Go, and Caillou.....
I'm so glad that they all like to be read to.
