Friends

We came home today from my bf's house in SI. She came last night and picked us up so me and the kids could spend the night. It was so nice to be with her and her family, we stayed up until about 11:30 pm, (which is way after their bed time so they loved it) the kids had a blast playing with her son (her baby is too little).
It was the first time we all stayed there over night. We woke up this morning and the first thing the kids wanted to do was to play outside on her back yard deck. J loved driving the jeep...F and her son M always have a great time playing together.

We made plans to do this once a month. I have known her since we were in junior high, we have been friend a long time. It's nice to have a close friend with children that my kids get along with.

Even when F is not being home schooled he finds way to learn something... my friend's son M has a U.S. state puzzle with various facts about the states on it such as where they have tropical plants, cotton, mining, etc...
He found the puzzle and looked at it for quite a while, I like that he likes to learn on his won at times. A did an entire alphabet puzzle by herself. She knows a some of the letters, she just is good at putting puzzles together. She found the shapes of each letter and put them where they belong. I love watching her, I'd like to peek into her mind when she does a puzzle.

I have to start organizing our things for the coming 'school' year, as far as the classes they kids will be taking, activities I have planned, I want to get serious about teaching all 3 kids Spanish beyond the few words they know. We are thinking of setting up a class just for that purpose with the home school group in Bklyn, let's see how well that pans out.
