Hot

It is so hot that we are really not doing very much. Friday we went to the beach here in Bklyn and had a good time playing in the sand and the water.. I miss the NC beaches.. where you can see the sand under the water....We went to my mother's apt. for the weekend (Air C.) and some nice grandma time... the kids love being there, they spent Saturday and Sunday playing with Legos, drawing, watching TV and just being kids....

Monday was tennis, it was too hot for J so she sat out a little bit cuz she wasn't feeling well... she drank a lot but still... then she want back in to practice for the last 10 minutes and was fine by the time we came home. I think the heat is getting to all of us....

Me and F have started doing some more grammar lessons and he is picking it up pretty fast... adverbs, nouns, verbs etc.... I am getting some print outs from Edhelper for the upcoming year and will search around for some more lessons for grammar and Language arts.
