Cleaning

The girls went to dance class with their father today while me and F stayed home and cleaned/organized.... I threw away a lot of my magazines and made room for more work books and thousands of papers lol.... it was nice to have some quiet time. J came home and showed me some of the new steps that she is learning.
Friday my dh had a meeting in the city and afterwards we drove to the Queens zoo and then Trader Joe's for some food shopping. The kids had a great time at the zoo and we seemed to have picked the right time to go, the animals were very cooperative lol and put on a nice show. The 2 pumas, who are usually too far away to really see, chased each other behind the glass and came so close we could have touched them if not for the glass pane....big beautiful butterflies came flying around us, we took pics of course. The kids played on the playground equipment and then we went to Trader Joe's.
Thursday was really nice out, after a little cleaning, we did laundry and went to the fruit stand and stocked up on veggies, J was a big help, she put the quarters in for the laundry and then got me the bags and helped pick out all of the various veggies we bought. She is familiar with almost all of the things we eat and likes to help me pick them out.

Wed. the weather wasn't so nice and tennis was cancelled, we went out there with a friend from the neighborhood and found out it was cancelled. I was upset because it never rained after the showers we had in the morning and they could have played it was so nice and cool out..... but we walked over to the playground and played with a few friends for about 15 minutes and then left so we could do some more errands. The kids were upset because it didn't start to rain again until 9 pm..... now I have the number that I can call and check....

I am still in the planning and ordering books stage of our 3rd grade yr....
