Tennis

I signed the kids up for tennis yesterday at the park. It's a free program for kids 5 to 16 over the summer. They are both excited to get started today.
Of course J's sneakers don't really fit and she has no shorts (she is a skirt girl)... so I went and bought her 3 pairs of shorts and shirts to match and she will have to wear her sneakers at least for today until I can go buy new ones..... they wear sandals the whole summer.

We are taking things slowly here as far as home schooling goes.... I have a new plan for the fall though and have to write out some sort of a plan that we can follow with F's input so he feels more in control of what he is learning.

We went to the Hall of science this past Friday and met a whole bunch of home schooling moms with their kids. I planned the trip and was quite surprised that everyone showed up and then some.... the kids had a blast, J ran around with L (a hs ing girl she met that day), ran around exploring the science exhibits and hung with her daddy who came along as well. She got to make different substances with molecules from a Knex type toy. F, J and A all got to make things. F made glucose and water and oxygen. J was really into this. She also got to make real cheese, and put together some smells by combining things, rosemary, basil etc.. at the hands on lab they had there..with her daddy's help of course... she came home explaning to me that everything is made up of molecules mommy. She also got to see how fast she can throw a baseball and play other games. F loved it, he had some of his closest friends there and had such fun running around with them looking at an ant farm, mold, playing in the magic exhibit etc...
We spent about 3 hours there and left when the place closed....it was nice....
Saturday we went to J's dance class and A's first dance class.... my baby is starting dance too and she loves it. She is really good and is very in tune to what the teacher is showing them.

I love it as well becase now they both are into something and it's half the price for A because J is dancing as well.... works for me :)
