We have officially started our 3rd year of home schooling all 3 kids....yesterday we did math pages, a lot of grammar and then F spent a good part of an hour studying Volcanoes and creating his own virtual volcano, he picked the conditions of the inside and then got to see the type of volcano he created. It had descriptions of each part, lava flow, debris, ash cloud etc... he also spent time looking at hurricanes and other science web sites.
I read books to the girls and J created a few pieces of art from sticks that she glued to paper.
Afterwards we took the bus to tennis, J is improving. It's to bad that next week will be the last week. But since they both have their own tennis rackets we will be going there to practice on our own. When it was over we walked to the train 12 blocks away and went to dance class for a free class for both girls. It was nice, it was in the upstairs big room and I got to see A dance, she was soo cute and she really has picked up the movements and she is doing so well, some ppl. forget that she is only 3.....
It was a long day :)
Today we did some more work with word plms for math, and some vocabulary plms. We are reading book 4 of the Odysseus books. J drew a lot with crayons today and created some more of her hand art projects.
