I found a really good site that explains fraction pretty well, I have always had a problem understanding how to work with fractions. This site is pretty cool for me, I really have no problem with other types of math and am actually enjoying working with numbers lately since I've had to teach F.

This is not a site for homeschooling but a homework help site, but it works for me :).
I don't know what I would do without the Internet, it's a great tool. I wonder sometimes how people without a computer find homeschooling?
J has her first tooth that is about ready to come out any day now... she is very nervous but F made her feel better by describing how it felt to have his first tooth fall out. Now she seems OK with it and is waiting not so patiently for it to fall....
We took down our live Christmas tree yesterday and put away all the decorations, though it feels good to have the house more in order again I always feel some sadness when the season is over.
We took a walk to the library Thursday and borrowed some books and some video tapes, which the kids watched already. J loves the Frog and Toad books we have here and the tapes as well. She is trying hard to read everything and is doing pretty well with the combination of phonics and memory of what a word looks like. I really believe after seeing first hand the trouble my kids are having with using only phonics to read/spell that this method can't be used by itself without any kind of word recognition/memory skill. So the more we read the better they will be at it.
