Tuesday

I am sitting here trying to decide if I really want to go into the city tomorrow morning for a class at the Met museum. J has another cold.. (I am so not used to all these colds this year) nothing major, just something she caught from either dance class last Friday, and Saturday or from her play date with a sick friend on Saturday afternoon. I let her go to the play date because it is her bff and she hasn't seen her in a while (she went back to school) which has made my girl very upset but.... it was supposed to be a 1 hour thing, but then I couldn't say no when her friend's mom offered to drive her home at a later time, 2 1/2 hours later to be exact... I knew she was going to get sick again.. and lo and behold she is... but she is so good with the taking the home remedies. I made her ginger, lemon and honey tea, and garlic sandwich for breakfast etc...

So now this class tomorrow is coming up and I am thinking abt. it., it will mean a 1 hour train ride each way ( 2 trains) and lots of walking around, in the city as well as in the museum. Not allowed to bring in food so I would most likely have to buy the food in the caf. (waaay over priced)....
and I hate to even think about this swine flu thing and how nervous it makes me, I'd rather stay home and make sure my baby gets better. It's not like we have a shortage of errands and other learning type activities for tomorrow.
The kids have been reading, writing their own little books (the girls) doing math, watching science DVDs, reading history books and asking lots of questions about everything. Especially J, she wants to know everything about everything and really picks up info from all different sources. Everything is an opportunity for them to learn something, including all the laundry we have been doing lately.
I will just have to make sure that F gets a play date with his friend A soon.
