tomatoes

Our tomato plant is growing so well, we had our first tomato yesterday and it was oh so good. Nothing beats fresh food... the kids are not crazy abt. tomatoes so I ate most of it, but they did try it at least. I am thinking of getting some other plants and seeing if they'll grow in a pot outside too.
F is starting a new series of books... The 39 Clues, we went to B&N and all the kids got their free books from the summer reading program and that's what he picked.. he seems to enjoy it. He read 2 chapters before bed last night.

We had a nice 4Th of July... I made Canadian potato salad and we drove to the park and had a little picnic. the kids ran around in the water and played on the playground while me and DH relaxed. Once it got too hot we came home and just relaxed and watched the fireworks on TV.
