Geography club

We had our geography club today, F did the languages of Australia, the kids all did a really nice job on their presentations, we had some good food afterwards and then stayed a few for some play time. F really loves to play with his friend C as well as the other kids who go to the club. Afterwards we went to J's dance class, today was the last day of the season and all the parents got to sit and see the little girls dance. It was so nice and so cute, it was great to see that J is learning how to do ballet moves as well as do some cute creative dances.
The winter season starts in January so we get a few weeks break from dance....

F and his father spent some time on the computer the past few days looking up the weather in different countries, learning more about Antarctica and how the ice is melting there too fast. We also read a little about how hail is formed, because of a small hail storm we had on Thursday..... J has been very creative as well, she drew a very colorful cake complete with popsicle stick candles, drew a pterodactyl egg hatching, ghosts, a volcano, a mouse eating cheese which showed the path of digestion from one end to the other... :)

She asks so many questions and spends time with F looking at the same things he does on the computer and she is picking up all sorts of information, they spent a some time a few days ago looking up extinct animals and stumbled on some dinosaurs, hence the egg hatching picture. She is a sponge :) I love the feeling that I get to witness with my own eyes her creativity and her mind at work and not just see the picture when she brings it home from pre-school.
