Sunday

The girls went to dance class Friday night, had a great time learning how to be sugar plum fairies for the upcoming recital next month. Afterwards we went food shopping at Trader Joe's, I really like the place. Most of the food they sell is either all natural or organic, and most of it is pretty cheap compared to other stores. We came home, ate veggie burgers for dinner, had story time, I have been reading an average of 3 books every night to the kids. I am really liking the story time.
Saturday morning we woke up and ran out the door for dance class again, then drove to my mother's house. The kids stayed with her while me and DH finished all our x- mas shopping and had some alone time. It's been a while since we had some alone time and it was nice to be able to do the shopping without any interruptions. The kids had a great time with grandma and did not want to go home :).

Today we stayed home and cleaned and watched movies, played board games and just enjoyed not having to go out into the cold. It's been an average of 30 degrees outside the last few days. With wind chills in the 20's... not my idea of fun walking weather.
Dh installed a language program on his laptop and him and J are playing and learning Spanish right now. She really likes it. It's for children and sings in Spanish, has ABC's, numbers, body parts and things like that.
F worked on his 4 digit math and polygons today and we played scrabble to improve his vocabulary words.
