Monday :)

The things we did today

* I watched Dexter :) at 7 am... (some me time)
* walked with the kids to Pathmark and did food shopping, quick math lesson for F
* discussed a little bit of Christopher Columbus as we walked
* Read the Christopher Columbus chapter in Around the World in 100 years, with F
* Went over improper fractions with F
* quick math lesson with the girls
* made fish sandwiches and corn on the cob for lunch (sat down with the kids)
* F watched The Lost Voyage of C. Columbus on TV
* kids had a blast playing with bubbles
* put away clean, dry clothes
* Went over, with F, all of his vocabulary words that he has copied over the last month from free rice, learned a few new words myself :)
* posted on blog :)

The rest of my day will be making dinner and giving baths and possibly story time and lots of cuddling and hugging in between :).


Yesterday, after a great pancake bkfst cooked by my husband, F and DH went to DH's job and put together a large stainless steel table by themselves, DH gave F some money in return for his help :). One way for him to learn that you get money for work that you perform. Then they drove to Game stop and bought F a new PS2 remote since his broke a few weeks ago. I spent the whole morning until abt 1 pm cleaning the apt. The girls played together nicely with Legos and dolls. Ran around blowing bubbles at each other and played some Webkinz on line.
I made Lecso (my family will know what that is ) and Vegetable lasagna. J has been asking me to make it for a few days.

Saturday was dance class and Trader Joes. Then home to relax and watch TV (yes we watch waay too much TV) not the kids.. me and my husband, lol.
