Yoga

We finally went to yoga class today, it was nice to see ppl again :), J loves the class and F has decided that he wants to try it as well the next time. He did a page of division in his work book before we left. We went to the book store after J's dance class on Saturday and I bought him a chapter book that I thought he'd like...The diary of a Wimpy kid.... he is almost finished reading it! I was so surprised and so pleased....
Our pet snail woke up from a few months of hibernation yesterday. The kids are thrilled and have started feeding him cauliflower leaves and picking leaves from outside to give to him, they took him out today and had him crawl all over their hands....put water in his 'habitat' and made sure that he has rocks and sticks for his calcium (builds a strong shell) I like that this is not only a pet but something they can learn about. We have a few books on snails.

We also bought fish food for the fish (Albert), J wanted to know all about tadpoles last night so I looked it up on line and we had a nice talk about what they eat, she then pretended to be a tadpole and had me feed her lol.... I have a 2ND grade science book for F and she sat on the kitchen floor and looked thru it, I can't wait until she learns to read.... we are learning the days of the week right now. She soaks every thing up like a sponge....
